You should have the lore behind how he became a Shichibukai already mapped out before you submit an application, lol. That's sort of the point. How a character becomes a Shichibukai is telling of their character; Veno traded a Road Poneglyph, Tabart was held hostage to become a Shichibukai, etc. In canon you have Blackbeard who brought in Ace, Law who traded in 100 pirates hearts.
But that aside, let's look at what you absolutely NEED to qualify for this position. You don't need POWER. You don't even need to be against piracy. Being "anti-pirate" earns you no merit here whatsoever. In fact, what the WG wants more than anything is a world class pirate in their ranks so they can invoke fear in others.
You should ask yourself if it suits his character, too. Hide objected to joining the Moon Pirates because he didn't want to be known as a slave to a Yonko. You do realize the outside world views Shichibukai as the Government's lap dogs right? That's a nice way of saying you're Kurama's bitch! So if Hide has a problem with being subordinate to someone, this is not the position for him because it's the opposite of what he would want for his reputation.
He's a bounty hunter... a guy who left Klaus because Klaus sided with the greater enemy for a chance to grow stronger himself. What does Hide gain from becoming a Shichibukai? Why would he willingly enlist himself to become a government lap dog so that he's forced to take orders from them all the time?
I will say, I can see the WG recruiting him. I don't know if Hide has worldwide fame in universe but he's definitely a more relevant character on the site as of late. He's got enough clout, I would say.
There are holes here that you need to fix before this can be approved. Again, the biggest hole here is in his character. Blackbeard USED the WG by becoming a Shichibukai. But that requires BRAINS. Plus he gave them Ace who was the Pirate King's son, so they kind of were forced to accept the terms.
What is Hide plotting if anything? Becoming a Shichibukai doesn't just let him fight everyone that he wants, lol. Especially not when the strongest fighters are all on the marines and shichibukai. At that point the only top tier fighters he can go after would be the yonko crews so he's more than halving his potential list of candidates to fight.
As a freelance bounty hunter right now he can fight the WG AND the Yonko AND the Shichibukai. You remove 2/3 of the great powers by becoming Shichibukai.
