Akumaru (悪丸, Akumaru) is the name and designation given to the body guard and personal ninja of the leader of the Delian Alliance and General of the Army of Sparta, Ogre, and the current wielder of the Suke Suke no Mi. Where ever Ogre is, Akumaru is likely not far behind, serving as his shadow and keeping his lord safe from any enemies. Prior to his service under his Lord Ogre, Akumaru was a mercenary for hire, taking on contract killings and sabotage missions for which he was excellently suited for. He is greatly trained in stealth, assassination, reconnaissance, and a great many secret ninja techniques.
Appearance[]
Akumaru is a tall and lanky man with a deceptively powerful build meant for speed, power, and precision. Atop his head is an incredibly voluminous head of white hair, styled in an afro and usually flowing along side the scarf he carries, framing a gaunt face that tote a quarter of earrings, two in ear ear. His usual attire consists of a mesh shirt, Gi, a scarf, wrappings, bracers, specially made sound proofing sandals, and a pair of shades which cover his eyes from sight. Akumaru adjusts the color of the gi he wears to the environments in which he finds himself, changing the color according to what color would best be suited for camouflage. For deserts he wears beige and tan colors, tundra and taigas are usually white or white-and-green mix, and so on and so forth. The most common color Gi he wears is actually a navy blue color, the same shade as the night sky, so as to better blend in with the horizon and confuse his enemies. The shades that Akumaru wears are also special, in that they serve as a reconnaissance device, equipped with a zoom function and night-vision.
Of course, these are only the articles of clothing that Akumaru allows others to see. Utilizing the power of his fruit, the Suke Suke no Mi, Akumaru conceals a number of hidden weapons and tools upon his person, including but not limited to;
- Multiple Daggers.
- A pair of Ninjatō
- Six separately loaded pistols, with ammunition.
- A medicine box with two compartments, one labelled poison, the other labelled medicine.
- A flint and steel.
- A pen.
- A length of chain with a grappling hook attachment.
- A 1 meter length of cloth.

- Flashbangs.
- Smoke bombs.
- Wall climbing claws.
- Lockpicks.
It is currently unknown just how much ordinance Akumaru actually carries with him at any given time, as much of it is invisible on his person, and his carrying capacity is unknown, but assumed to be very high.

Akumaru's personality can shift greatly depending on the situation and persons he is dealing with. When dealing with a particularly serious situation or no non-sense person, he adopts the role of a joking prankster, and his mannerisms reflect someone playing at being Shinobi rather than a real ninja of credible threat. Meanwhile, when dealing with foolhardy and reckless individuals, he will adopt a stone faced personality. These quirks are partly due to the fact that Akumaru's ninja training involved acting, mastering the roles of different positions, like that of a priest, or say, a guard. There seems to only be one exception to this rule, and that is when dealing with his Master/Lord Ogre. When in his presence, Akumaru adopts a blank slate personality, one where his Lord's needs come before even his own life. So extreme is his dedication that it could almost be mistaken as a sort of worship. But what is perhaps the most unnerving facet of Akumaru's personality is the fact that Akumaru will never tell a single lie. Regardless of the situation, Akumaru will not lie to anyone asking a question of him. He will reveal all he knows on any given subject,

Like many ninja before him, Akumaru is a practitioner of the art of Ninjutsu (orNinpō, 忍法), an ancient Ninja art consisting of mysterious tricks with which to fool, escape, or incapacitate enemies. Akumaru often utilizes this in conjecture with his Devil Fruit for maximum efficiency, making it so that he can pull off even more elaborate escapes and attacks. These "Ninja Arts" are usually broken down into separate techniques.
- Ninpo; Enton no Jutsu (煙遁の術 Enton no Jutsu, literally meaning "Smoke Escape Technique"): One of the basic ninja techniques that most all shinobi seem to know, the Smoke Escape Technique is an evasionary tactic used to confuse and escape pursuers.
- Ninpo; Dobutsu no Henso (動物の変装, Dōbutsu no hensō, literally meaning Animal Disguise): Another diversionary tactic, Akumaru throws a smoke bomb to the ground, and releases a number of animals he keeps on his person, usually mice, insects or reptiles. The smoke greatly irritates the animals, sending them in all directions to cause mayhem, meanwhile, Akumaru will usually escape to a hiding place, out of sight and out of mind.
- Ninpo: Bunshin no Jutsu (忍法 分身の術 Ninpō: Bunshin no Jutsu, literally meaning "Ninja Art: Clone Techique"): Akumaru creates up to four "clones" of himself, which will split off in different directions, or usually aid him in combat.
- Ninpo: Mienai otoko no yashū (見えない男の夜襲, Ninpō: Mienai otoko no yashū, literally meaning "Ninja Art: Invisible Man's Night Raid"): Akumaru disappears utilizing his devil fruit, and assaults the person in question with a barrage of attacks from all sides, utilizing every tool at his disposal, including guns, swords, knives, fists, and more. Due to his speed and the invisible nature of his attacks, it is next to impossible to detect where to block or where the next attack might come from.
- Ninpo: Kyūkyoku no uzura no himitsu (究極のウズラの秘密, Ninpō: Kyūkyoku no uzura no himitsu, literally meaning "Absolute Quail Stealth"): A last ditch ace in the hole, by regulating his breath and slowing his heart beat, as well as dousing his natural body odor, Akumaru can enter a state of near death while invisible, rendering him almost completely undetectable via sight, smell or sound. Even those utilizing Obervation Haki will have a difficult time locating him, as it will appear as if Akumaru has well and truly vanished.

One of Akumaru's more esoteric techniques is his ability to suppress his being, attempting to emulate the abilities of his fruit to their highest level. He makes himself one with nothing, and shrinks his presence to that of a non-being, almost erasing him from a given battle field, and registering him as a non-threat to combatants.

- One of the main reasons he has the Suke Suke no mi is in reference to the fact that in the series, Ninja-Ninja seems to be both ever present and never there, owing to the fact that he is in fact a hallucination.
- With the Suke Suke no Mi, Akumaru can in fact be everywhere and nowhere at once.
