Alcyone Samson (アルシオーネサムソン Arushiōne Samuson) is a Pirate travelling the New World. A former denizen and subject of the notorious Devil's Playground with the codename of Morozko (モロッコ Morokko), Samson's body was literally pieced together to produce the perfect soldier. Despite the many modifications made to him physically, the staff at the facility were unable to seize control of his mind; this lack of discipline led to Samson's eventual rebellion and escape. Having once been the powerless one, beaten and bullied by those stronger than him, Samson's sense of justice is strong despite his career as a pirate, and he intends to right wrongs wherever he is able to. The powers he wields - particularly his Devil Fruit - have earned him the title of Fubuki (吹雪 lit. Snowstorm?).

As a subject of the Devil's Playground, it can be presumed that Samson's physical skills are highly developed. Having been infused with Cyanine at a young age, Samson has had his entire body reinforced to a much greater level than a regular human. The Cyanine in his blood naturally boosted all the children's muscle strength and nervous system, allowing them to move faster and be stronger. It also boosted all their other physical traits, from durability to endurance. This is a process all the other children in the Playground went through, to transform them into veritable fighting machines.
In comparison to his peers, Samson was not affected quite as extensively. His body did not bulge or change visibly in the slightest; instead, his internal areas were affected to a much greater degree than the others. This resulted in Samson being able to withstand even more damage and maintain function for even longer than his fellow experiments. While his comrades were busy experimenting with their newfound strength, speed, and agility, Samson spent his time devising how best to use his particular gifts.
Utilising the enhanced endurance and resistance to fatigue that he now had access to, Morozko trained continually until he could regularly dominate his fellow subjects. It was this constant training regimen that allowed Samson to slowly but surely build up his reserves in other areas, as well as facilitated his escape from the Playground. To this day, his stamina is what makes Samson stand out amongst other pirates of his class. This determination causes him to be unrelentingly irritating to those who he fights - no matter the beating he takes, Samson will never give up, not until he is unable to move.

Not long before Samson was taken in by the Devil's Playground, the management acquired the Bara Bara no Mi. This Devil Fruit, used famously by the captain of the Buggy Pirates, allows its consumer to split their body apart into numerous pieces, and levitate these pieces with a thought. Feeding the fruit to the infant Samson shortly after he arrived, they spent many years examining the unique properties it granted to the boy. Most importantly, it allowed them to see the effects of Cyanine on the inside of a body as it worked. After years of pain and torture, Samson used the powers he had been granted to orchestrate his escape from the facility and out into wide world - turning the arrogant gift he received into a tool of his own control.
As stated earlier, this fruit allows Samson to essentially disconnect his body parts and levitate them around at will. In order to perform this levitation, he must have at least two points of contact with the ground. This is usually his feet, although on occasion Samson uses his hands or other body parts to "anchor" himself. Should one of these anchor points no loner be in contact with the surface, all of Samson's body parts will fall to the ground. In addition, if one of Samson's body parts are taken too far away from the rest of him then he will be unable to control them. This range is seen to vary based on Samson's mental state while using his powers - strong emotions such as anger can cause it to increase, while exhaustion can cause it to shrink. On average, his body parts can levitate as long as they're within 150m of the anchor points. The Bara Bara no Mi also provides a formidable defence; as the power of the fruit relies on "chopping" oneself up, Samson is completely immune to bladed attacks of all kinds. Whether that be slashing, slicing, or stabbing, Samson can simply use it as a catalyst to activate his powers and separate along the cuts provided by the blade.
Samson's has developed several uses for his powers, taking advantage of the numerous particulars of his ability. For example, when his limbs are separated from the rest of his body, he can move them at immense speeds, allowing him to perform punches and other attacks with huge amounts of momentum behind them. These attacks are also capable of twisting and turning at a moments notice, to avoid defences and chase enemies. Samson also regularly uses the Bara Bara no Mi to lift his enemies from into the sky as if they weighed no more than a toy, before tossing them down towards the earth like a sack of potatoes. Beyond these simple techniques, Samson has many much more advanced abilities at his disposal.
