Aquarius is an article written by FlowGoer.

Aquarius (水瓶座 Mizugameza?) is a Dial-Based weapon created by the Sky Tribe that belongs to Adrian. It’s an orb-like weapon with a unique Ocean Dial (海洋貝 Kaiyō Kai?) built into it that too has been created by the Sky Tribe. The weapon has limited control over water itself.

Appearance[]

Aquarius resembles a large blue orb that is being held in place by a complex shape made out of a golden material. The orb glows in a blue color with its color seemingly shifting around at all times, which resembles moving water. A crescent shape with multiple protruding lines circles the orb itself, which is held in place by spike-like constructs.

Abilities[]

Aquarius is a non-traditional weapon which isn’t directly used in combat itself, including blunt attacks. Instead, the focus on the weapon is entirely on the built in Ocean Dial and its extended usage made possible via the weapon itself. That being the limited control and manipulation of water.

Like other special Dial-Based weapons created by the Sky Tribe, the weapon itself is bound to a user via special surgery and connection with their life force, similarly to Vivre Cards. Allowing for remote activation without any special mechanism to be attached to the weapon itself. Being bound specifically to Adrian and only functioning properly when he uses it.

The weapon’s limited control over water allows it to absorb water into itself and store it for later usage by either shooting it out, or other applications such as cleaning it. Aquarius can also be used to affect large bodies of water in a certain radius and then manipulate it in a way akin to Fish-Man Jujutsu, although typically in a larger and more precise and controlled way. Including making water float, making constructs out of it, or increasing the pressure of it.

Controlling water extends further than just bodies of water, since it is also able to absorb moisture in the air. It can even absorb water through ice or clouds. The weapon can also be used to separate unwanted materials from water, such as salt from the ocean’s water, or harmful poisons. Due to the fact that it only absorbs water and no other substance that might be inside of it, water absorbed by Aquarius is always safe to drink.

Offensively, it is the most effective while in, or near water. It is capable of creating controlled floods or whirlpools, making it exceptionally powerful for ocean combat. Aquarius can also be used to shape water and have it keep a solid structure, allowing the creation of constructs made out of water, which includes weapons with direct use in combat.
