Captains are the individuals at the top rank of a naval crew or group, those in charge of their own ships.

The general term for Pirate Captains is "Ship's Captain" (船長, Senchō?).
However, that is not the only term used to address them. Depending on a crew's thematic or structure, several other names are used.
Marines[]
Meanwhile, Marine Captains are called "Navy Captain" (大佐, Taisa?) and are not always on the rank of name similar to their position. Some Marines refer to them as "Skippers" (艇長, Teichō?) to differentiate from the Captain Rank.
