Fly Fly Noah is an article written by Black Dwarf Star.

Noah is a Komainu owned by Fly Fly Adams.

Appearance[]

Noah is covered primarily in gold fur with black stripes along his body and legs. Unlike most Komainu, he still possesses a snout instead of a flat face, as well as lacking the sharp fangs that protrude outwards. He still has sharp teeth, however, a few of which do stick out of his mouth when closed. His head is covered in a mane of cream-colored fur, as well as his tail being the same color with a great deal of fluff, and tufts of fur coming from the back of each of his paws.

Personality[]

Noah displays human-like characteristics. Similarly to Adams, he is very childish, and even takes part in his practical jokes.[1] He is rather affectionate, licking Adams' cheek and cuddling with him every night.[2] Overall, he acts very similarly to a dog. He also displays intelligence in battle, knowing that if he were to get involved in the battle between Adams and Rumlar Zelgius, then he'd only get in the way. Of course, when Adams was about to be captured, his dog-like sense of loyalty kicked him, causing him to risk his life and limb in order to save his owner.[3]

Relationships[]

Fly Fly Adams[]

Adams is Noah's owner, who he seems to care for very much. He allows Adams to travel on his back long distances and travels with him everywhere, even when not acting as a mount.[1] He cuddles with his master ever night, sometimes acting as a substitute bed (Adams even considers Noah to be more comfortable than a normal bed), and licks him incessantly after long periods of separation.[2] In battle, Noah will stay out of Adams' way, but won't hesitate to get involved if his owner appears to be in danger.[3]

Abilities and Powers[]

As a Komainu, it can be assumed that Noah is very physically powerful. He possesses a great deal of endurance, allowing him to run very far distances, with Adams riding on his back, showing no fatigue whatsoever.[1] He has demonstrated the ability to carry multiple passengers as well with no additional difficulty.[2] He also had the confidence to charge Rumlar Zelgius, despite the pirates' considerable power and seeing him defeat Adams, although he was promptly defeated as well.[3]

History[]

Past[]

At some point after Adams arrived at Wano and joined the Black Widow Pirates, Adams found Noah, deciding to keep him as a pet.

Changing Roles: Fukujin to Tutor![]

When Adams was headed to his first reading lesson with his new tutor, Draco D. Indiana, Noah accompanied him, taking him through the Daily Vines hotel building. While he followed Adams to the entrance of Indiana's office, he was forced to wait outside as the door was too small for him to walk inside.[1]

Bound as Brothers[]

Noah later escorted Adams to another one of his tutoring sessions with Indiana. After the session was cut short by Maurier Harlan's interruption, Adams took his new friend outside to introduce him to Noah. Wanting to use Adams Haki Bombs to pull pranks on the citizens of Wano, Adams and Harlan got onto Noah's back and went on a rampage through the capital.[2]

Partway through their rampage, Adams and Harlan were suddenly halted when Noah began sinking. Not sure of what to do, a pair of hands made from sand suddenly restrained the two young men. It was then revealed that the person who had stopped them was Sahara Connor, one of the Fukijin of the Black Widow Pirates. As Connor chewed out Adams and Harlan, Noah watched on, eventually being freed from the sand trap after Harlan had to leave Wano with Wolfgang.[4]

Slumber Party[]

Noah later accompanied Adams to Unida for his owner's sleepover with Harlan. Noah was used as a mount for Adams and Harlan as they traveled around the island.[5]

Bleed the Spider[]

While Adams was returning to Wano following his sleepover with Harlan, their raft was suddenly attacked by Rumlar Zelgius, also known as Bloodbeard, the captain of the Bloodbeard Pirates. Adams managed to get Noah to safety before engaging Bloodbeard, himself, in an attempt to steal his ship. However, he was quickly subdued. In order to assist his master, Noah jumped into the fray. However, he was quickly defeated and imprisoned in a cocoon of blood alongside Adams.[3]

Book of Genesis[]

In 1585, sometime after Noah and Adams were rescued, Adams was tasked with showing the new crew member, Rusalka, to the location of one of the Poneglyphs in Wano. Adams happily greeted Noah, with him being chosen as one of their "escorts" while Adams traveled the distance with the Mermaid. While his sudden appearance initially put the Mermaid on high alert, she quickly adapted to his presence. Noah then led the pair of Widowers to the Poneglyph they were instructed to head to.[6]

Major Battles[]

Trivia[]

  • Noah's image source is taken from a shiny version of Arcanine from the Pokémon franchise.
    • Noah's name is actually derived from Arcanine is a sort of roundabout way by Dwarf (Arcanine is shortened to Arky —> Ark —> Noah's ark —> Noah).[7]
