- Accolades: A term officialized by the Marines, they are used to refer to Medals, Badges, and Ribbons, all of which have a specific condition to be granted.
- Alias: A name that is different to the person's legit name, which they create for a variety of reasons, generally used to hide the latter.

- Bounties: An estimated value placed on an individual's head by the Government in accordance to the danger posed, some use them as a form of bragging.

- Emblems: Similar to Accolades, Emblems are items granted to a Government agent based on their achievements, they are symbols of respect and duty.
- Epithets: A name used to identify people based on their characteristics or things they have done.

- Feeder: A slang term used to describe a person who wields a weapon or tool that has been fed a Devil Fruit.

- Gioshoku Haki (偽王色の覇気 Giō-shoku no Haki?, literally meaning "False King-type Haki"): An insult to those who have Haoshoku Haki. It is a term first used by Killigrew Khan to describe people who have Haoshoku but are bad leaders and undeserving of a crown, leading her to believe they instead have Gioshoku.

- Meito: Bladed weapons that are divided into many ranks, these ranks depend on the fame and quality of the weapon, as it is employed by someone.
- Koto: Bladed weapons that were once part of the Meito, but have been transferred to a new classification due to age.

- Revelation (天啓; Tenkei): The manifestation of a new power, such as but not limited to a Devil Fruit's Awakening or a Limit-Breaking Power, which has been found to rarely occur when an individual survives an extremely close call with death.

- Shichibukai: Seven Pirates who have been granted a pardon by the World Government in exchange for serving under them. Usually extremely powerful and feared veterans of the pirating world, they are one of the Three Great Powers.
- SMILE:
- Super Rookie: Pirates that have gathered renown and infamy in a small time-span, they have high bounties.
- Horsemen: A term that refers to four super rookie pirates in the New World who each obtained bounties of at least 300,000,000 within their first few years of piracy. Refers specifically to Draco D. Damon, Benjamin Tabart, Kenway Olympus, and Fukuoka Soren.
