Henry Benjamin is an article written by Black Dwarf Star.

"Pushing Fortress" Henry Benjamin, also known by his alias Konsai,[2] is an admiral of the Marines and the commanding officer of the special unit known as the Iron Curtain. He is the older, adoptive brother of the Super Rookie pirate captain, Henry Avery.

Due to his actions, he serves as the main antagonist of Everything Comes to a Stop and Jam Session.

Appearance[]

Benjamin is a relatively tall and imposing man. He possesses significant muscle mass, a sharp jawline, and bags and wrinkles under the eyes. The latter physical aspect causes many people he encounters to think he's older than he actually is. He also has silver hair and dark eyes. He dresses in a darker version of the standard marine officer uniform, with a dark coat draped over his shoulders, a black collared shirt, a navy blue tie and pants, and black boots.

Following Benjamin's training with Bradford Silva, Benjamin's look changed a fair degree, although his facial features generally remained the same his face is at least marginally more relaxed than before. He cut his hair and began to wear it in a more slicked-back appearance. He also began to forgo wearing a tie and dress coat, instead wearing a sort of dark-colored turtleneck under his blue marine coat. He also appears to have swapped out his dark-colored marine coat for one a lighter blue color.

Following his mission at the Sadala Kingdom and consuming the food there, Benjamin became much more muscular than he was originally, as well as growing proportionately stronger. However, he began using Seimei Kikan to restrain his additional muscles and appear as he normally does.[15]

  • Like Avery, Benjamin's name is derived from the real life pirate, Henry Every, in his case coming from one of Every's aliases, Benjamin Bridgeman.
    • This is referenced again when Benjamin uses the alias Bridgeman Bideford in Alberon. Bideford is believed to be the location Henry Every died.
  • Benjamin's image source in 1578 comes from Vicious, from the anime series Cowboy Bebop.
    • Benjamin's image source in 1580 comes from Vergil from the Devil May Cry video game series.
  • Like many other characters, Benjamin has a distinct laughter style, "Gi hi hi hi hi". He shares this laughter style with his brother.
