The Kumo Tribe is one of the many races inhabiting the world, distinct by being half spider and half human. Their lower body consists of that of a full spider whilst their upper front body is a human body. They derive from their home island of Mörk Skog where they have been by themselves for centuries, Unphased by the outside world.
Appearance[]
The kumo tribe people have bodies which consists of a spider mixed with a human, The upper body is that of a human whilst the lower body is that of a spider. They have exoskeleton all over them including over the human parts. Much like all other arachnea's, The kumo tribe also have eight legs. Their maximum leg span is between five to six meters in width. The tallest Kumo member recorded in their history was a male which reached thirteen meters tall. Just like any other human, Their upper body differs the most as they all carry a unique mix of genes.

Biology[]
The kumo tribe consists of one upper body which has the shape and form of a humanoid whilst it's lower body consists of a spider.
Upper Body[]
Their upper body is that of a regular human, Though what is capable of setting them apart is that a few of the kumo tribe has evolved extra set of eyes, Spanning from the default two up to eight or even ten. Another defining feature which stands out from the regular human is their exoskeleton, Which they just like their lower body possess all over their upper. The kumo tribe is capable of producing strings and webs from small orphaces located in their palms, Which allows them to weave their net with ease.
Lower Body[]
The kumo tribes lower body is that of a spider, Featuring everything from their legs to their big abdomen. The lower part features fangs in the front which varies in size between individuals. They feature eight legs in total which also vary in size between individuals, Though they're usually between three to six meters in length. Their lower body also feature a seperate sense of sight, Though this varies even further down the evolutionary paths as the more evolved of the kumo tribe has eight eyes whilst the less evolved feature none. The kumo tribe is capable of using their pedipalps as a seperate set of arms, Which more or less makes them have four arms in total. Just like most spiders, The kumo tribe also features spinnerets which allows them to weave their webs.
Sub-Species[]
The kumo tribe has two kinds of subspecies whereas the first one is venomous whilst the second one isn't, This is due to their evolutionary paths on Mörk Skog.
- The first subspecies is called "Euphiche", Which evolved venomous and poisonous traits in order to paralyze their prey. They use their toxic traits in a few manners, Though each individual has different ways of handling things. In common they either infuse their webbings with their poison by dipping it before laying their webs which allows it to sink into any minor orphase. Their second way of getting their poison to enter their prey is by biting into them.
- Second subspecies of the kumo tribe has been named "Salassa", Which evolved in order to focus on brute strength in order to overthrow large prey. The Salassa also possess venom, Though not nearly as potent as the Euphiche sub species. Generally speaking, The Salassa's are from a quarter up to double as strong as their cousins Euphiche.
Overall Abilities[]
- Climb - Due to possessing hair underneath their spider legs, The kumo tribe is capable of scaling almost if not all walls. What is capable of limiting this is lubrication - like liquids or extremely smooth walls. They are capable of climbing trees as well as mountains with ease, Often making their webbed homes in higher altitudes.
- Web - Just like spiders make homes out of web the kumo tribe also does. They are capable of producing very strong webs from their spinnerets and orphaces in their hands, They are capable of creating both temporary and permament homes using these webs. Their webs are said to be strong enough to hold down sea kings for short periods of times.
- Poison - The kumo tribe often uses their poison in order to paralyze their prey. Producing limited amounts per day they are often wary of how they use it, Tending to prefer to weaken the target physically by exhausting it before adding their poison. Their poison is a nerve toxin which stops muscle functions for up to thirty minutes.
Body Strength[]
Due to their big size, It's believed that the Euphiche are about 1,5x times as strong as a very fit human. While on the other hand the Salassa are believed to be about twice as strong as a very fit human. Their legs are considerably strong as well, Capable of pinning down larger prey, Sometimes even larger than themselves.
Senses[]
The kumo tribe has among the best senses seen amongst races, This is due to their neurological advantage of having two brains which can proccess twice the amount of information as others.
- Sight - The kumo tribes sense of sight is astonishin, If not the best out of all races. This is due to them possessing more eyes than the average race combined with their advantage of multiple brains.
- Touch - Due to their exoskeleton, The kumo tribes sense of touch is quite lacking. They're still capable of feeling touch on their "skin", Though not nearly as much as a human would feel.
- Smell - They a possess a slightly above average sense of smell, Though it's most notable when it comes to blood as they're capable of smelling the chemical compossition of blood than other things.
- Taste - The kumo tribe has excellent sense of taste as their upper body is close to that of a human. This allows them those with two heads to choose between eating with their lower half if they find the food disgusting as they have no sense of taste there, Or they can also use their upper half if they find the food delicious.
Intelligence[]
Despite not being as evolutionary far as humans in regards of agriculture, Buildings and inventions. The kumo tribe is extremely smart, This is due to them possessing up to two heads. One in their upper human part and one in their lower spider part. This effectively allows them to have a standard of twice the average humans iq. Their two brains also makes the kumo tribe excell at multi tasking as they can focus one brain on one task whilst the other brain focuses on the other.
History[]
The kumo tribe originates from other islands, Though because of the islands limited recources they eventually had to relocate which is when they stumbled upon Mörk Skog. Having settled in Mörk Skog the kumo tribe slowly evolved into two different paths which eventually led to the distinctions between Salassa's and the Euphiche. Due to the island of Mörk Skog being both rich in resources and wildlife the Kumo Tribe stayed there for centuries, Having interracted with humans, giants and other races in the past slowly became myths and turned into folklore.
Interspecies Relationships[]
The kumo tribe has rarely ever interracted with any other species than their own, This is due to their isolation on Mörk Skog. The few rare cases of which they have been in contact with another species they have shown great interest in everything from culture, clothing, food to history. This is due to other species being a folklore for the kumo tribe.
Just like the kumo tribe has other species as a folklore, regular humans also have kumo tribe as a folklore. Believing that they don't exist at all, Instead using the idea of their existance as a way to scare children before they go to bed. The rare cases of which a human has managed to reach Mörk Skog they have either been terrified or intruiged by the kumo tribe.
There was a single case in history where a person captured a kumo tribe member and sold him off as a slave, He was sold for a price of 
1.500.000. Though in time he eventually succumbed and his remains are currently used as an attraction inside a circus.
Culture[]
The kumo tribe has a rich culture, Where they have their own traditions on top of having their own social systems. Despite living in solitary for the most part, The kumo tribe has social gatherings during certain events where they celebrate together and enjoy eachothers company. One of the few times they have a social gathering is when it's a bloodmoon lighting up the sky, They believe it symbolizes purity and forgiveness.
In order to settle disputes between themselves, The kumo tribe resorts to fitness tests. This is in order to prove who is the most fit survivor as the better one is considered superior and the superior one should have better living conditions or is considered correct. These "tests" are consisting of climbing, webbing and hunting.
