Sailing The Sea For All To See[]

The ocean stretched on for miles, the salty breeze could be tasted on the tongues and detected by every mouth and nose aboard the ship. And a ship was a loose term for what exactly what was drifting on the waters in this area. If anything it was more reminiscent of a Minesweeper. A small ship that handled its job rather well, and at the moment it served it's job of getting it's cargo to the island of Foodvalten.

"Envy, how are we to handle the takeover?" Spoke the young yet eager Kelby. He saluted towards the man he spoke to, showing him nothing short of the honor he showed his captain. "I don't believe Cap'n Red Feather would let us live it down if we failed to capture this territory."

"While I would just charge in and take over...probably not the best idea-gosu?" Frostbite Envy said, sighing. "Do whatever you want to do, I'll follow along. I ain't good at this sort of stuff anyway-gosu."

"I-I see." Kelby spoke, looking towards to the other two figures on the ship in search of an answer. "Do either of you have a plan?" He spoke, the youth and discipline of his voice shining through.

"Why not just charge in guns blazing, leave little time for them to prepare and cause as much destruction as possible." The words would be uttered by one of the two figures who stood across from Kelby. "It shouldn't be too hard to capture a territory such as this, especially if Kerrim didn't come himself." The man who spoke being Osiris Black, his words directed at Kelby who had addressed him prior.

"Well, if we cause senseless destruction, we will be no different from the mindless pirates that plague the seas. And we all know our Captain is aiming for much higher than a common pirate...My advice is to just take out key figures that would be crucial for our settling in the territory. If you idiots go around and get injured by just being wreckless, I'll turn a "blind eye" to you and your injuries, and later heal you in the most painful way possible."

A young, green haired man stepped foot in between the rest of his crewmates and shrugged his shoulders as he finished his statement. Daiki Morou was a masterful doctor, yet he was completely blind. Whether he was born blind or became it later in life, is something only his captain is aware of. Yet it was his personality as a whole that made it difficult for his crew to deal and feel safe with him as their healer.

"Regardless, I'm on board with whatever final desicion is taken," he said as he sat with his legs crossed in a corner, as his turned his head to look around all his crew mates. He had a black piece of cloth covering his eyes, and because he was blind, he wasn't actually looking at them...or was he?

Kelby noted as he took in the information of his comrades. "Ok. Yea, you're right. How hard can it be? We have Envy after all! Cap'n wouldn't have him come unless he could handle this." He finished, placing his utmost faith in his superiors and more experienced team members. Besides, they all had a point. How hard could conquering an island be?

The sound of liquids and grapes being devoured had been all that was known by a majority of those who had now lived within Foodvalten. Especially since the most recent take over it had endured. Foodvalten had been claimed by many powerful individuals in the past, whether it was for it's reclusive nature or possible resources, it never really mattered. Under the command of it's newest captor, a temple of stone was designed for those who now ran the island. It had gone from a home to a place where the natives of Foodvalten were quite literally forced to worship their conquerors. And refusing to do so could only end in punishment.

Atop the altar, at the highest point within the temple, sat a man in a throne that could arguably pass as gold. He had hair so shaggy and unkempt that his face was practically impossible to see. Two horns protruded from the side of his head. As the offerings of wine and grapes reached its apex and eventual end, the horned man's lips removed themselves from the wine glass he had been sipping from as he let out a refreshed sigh.

"Have you seen Avanmora recently-yomi?" The man spoke. If he hadn't said 'how', his question would've came off as a command in place. This was just the effect he had on people.

Within a dark corner of the temple, two sets of eyes seemed to illuminate, and two silhouettes were visible. One was largely humanoid, but the other took the form of a snake. Shadows loomed over their faces as one of the two spoke, the darkness making it impossible to tell which was actually talking. Not that snakes could talk anyway. Or could they? "No, she hasn't resurfaced since last week, Delmire."

Delmire's head lowered yet again as his lips made contact with the wine glass. He simply couldn't get enough of it's divine taste. His left hand rose and seemed to land on something next to his throne. He patted it before lifting it up, with a lack of care for it's well-being no less. As he did so, a brunette lad could be seen wincing in pain as his hair was in the grasp of the high and mighty man on his throne.

"Micky. Go with Amias and Chumana for patrol-yomi." He spoke blandly. He released the young lad's, Micky, hair. Micky made his way down the stairs of the temple, and by the time he reached the bottom, the shadows of Amias and Chumana had all but vanished. Inevitably, by the end of it all, he had known what to do from this point forward. As Delmire was left alone, he set his wine glass down as he allowed himself to drift off to sleep. For being worshiped was such an exhausting task.

An Island With a Story[]

"We're closing in on Foodvalten. Maybe two of us should go ahead of the other two to scout?" Kelby spoke, looking to his allies for their insight.

"Hmm, I'll go forward-gosu. I haven't had anything to drink yet so I'm pretty quiet-gosu." Envy volunteered, yawning as he did so.

Kelby gave a quick nod, energetically shifting on his foot to face Osiris and Morou. "So we'll head out in about 10 minutes after you. That should hopefully give you enough time to scout out any troops. Right?" Kelby took out a total of three maps, placing them on a nearby table, side by side. Each map was denoted with a time stamp and seemingly only displaying the island of Foodvalten.

"From my understanding, Foodvalten served as territory to numerous pirates in the past. Whitebeard, Brownbeard, and possibly even Blackbeard all reigned over it at some point. To be used as a base for not one, but two Yonko of the past, it's possibly home to something of importance. It's this that makes me believe there may also be another power reigning over the island at this time." Kelby wrapped up, leaving the maps for anyone else to look over.

Morou picked up the map, and looked over it with detailed attention. "Hmm. Very interesting indeed...I think I understand the geographical distribution of this island......-NOT!", Morou exclaimed as he slammed the map back down on the table, startling the other two, while he waved his hand in front of his eyes as to remind his crew mates...he was blind.

He then turned his back, and walked over to the edge of the ship. "I can scout from here". The young man opened his mouth, and from it he released three, black, ghost-like beings. "My babies can move stealthily, and walls and doors are no obstacles to them. Go now." The little ghosts laughed and danced around for a moment, before making their way into the island.

"Don't underestimate the Daiki Clan just because we're blind."

Kelby chuckled a bit as he realized he'd yet again forgotten Morou's inability to see. As the doctor released his spirit-like entities, the young pirate watched as they made their way to the island. "Isn't that an advantage you get because of a Devil Fruit." Kelby cheekily retorted, aiming to do nothing more than tease this companion.

"Oi! Kelby! We're still handicapped! So whatever WE do will always be twice as impressive! Though even with my Devil Fruit, it doesn't mean I can see the way you people do!", Morou said as he walked closer towards Kelby, and pointed his finger on his forehead. He immediately realized, it wasn't Kelby he was poking at..."Sniff, Sniff...OH! My apologies, Black."

This time he activated his Kenbunshoku, and made sure it was Kelby he was pointing at, blushing a bit from embarrassment. "Oi!...My Haki may not be as good as the Cap'n, and certainly not like big bro, but I have nothing to envy any of them, nor you for that matter...Now take this!" Morou expelled another of his black spirits, and launched it in front of him, hoping to struck Kelby for making him embarrass himself...

Again, he realized that because of his rant, he had moved a little to the side, and the target of his attack would be none other than a poor seagull who had just stopped to rest on the ship. "My apologies!!!!!!" Morou exclaimed as he grabbed the seagull in his hands, which was now blind after being struck by Morou's black ghost.

Kelby leapt to the side as the ghastly figure was shot towards him, or at the very least that was it's intent. He hit the floor with a thud, looking over to see that his movement was all the while unnecessary as Morou's attack had hit a seagull in Kelby's place. He started laughing at the sight, his tone becoming relaxing and soothing in place of the usual respectful tone he carried around Kerrim and the Big Four. "Your right. That was impressive." He stated, yet again teasing his ally.

Morou "cured" the innocent seagull, and let it fly away. He then turned to Kelby, and put a hand on his mouth. "Ahem...Yes. Well, I didn't mean to target you. I had intended to hit the stray seagull all along..."

Morou then had a flashback of a moment, not too long ago. Just after joining the Cheeky Pirates, the same thing happened after he got annoyed at a crew member, and mistakenly attacked Lyov. He was sent flying halfway across an island by a sight, smell and touch deprived, but quite angered Lyov.

He shuddered at the thought. He really though he'd die. He remember Kelby teasing him after that as well, while Kerrim scolded Lyov for almost killing a new member out of annoyance. These people really knew how to hit his buttons, but at the same time, he couldn't see himself on another crew. They were strong, kind, yet merciless, and full of flaws and stupid quirks, yet they were the people that brought him in and treated him as a family.

"So, umm...Kelby. My ghosts detected a few lookouts on the shore. Why don't you show me those sniping skills of yours. I mean well, of course, I can't really see them, I have no eyeballs after all..."

Kelby turned to look towards the beach, pulling out one of his guns, he aimed it towards the island. "Alrighty. Gimme some coordinates."

Morou scratched his head. He scratched harder. And harder. "What part of I AM BLIND do you NOT get!?"...Morou turned his back to Kelby, facing the island. "Sigh...I guess...Two on the left, like, umm...one, two, five paces from...I DON"T KNOW! I CAN"T SEE!"...

He then stood still for a few seconds. "Hmmm let's see..." Morou placed his hand on his forehead. "Latitude 18 degrees north, longitude 24 degrees West. Umm...three men, middle aged, average size. Probably single, WAIT...one may be divorced. In between those trees. Armed."

Kelby took his pistol, aiming it almost exactly how Morou stated. He pulled the trigger. And although the gun made a sound, nothing came out. It wasn't that Kelby forgot to load it. He just knew it was a waste. Regardless, he continued the shenanigans. "So. Did your spirits say I hit them?"

Morou turned his head towards Kelby, and got closer to him, maybe too close. "Smartass". He turned back and walked towards the edge of the ship. "One. Two. Three. Okay, they are down...Now those three lookouts can't see, hear or smell. And...HA! They are going a bit insane right about now. Oh, yeah, that's what my spirits say", Morou taunted, while imitating Kelby's voice.

"OOhh...They're running...Aaaaand there it is. Well, they just threw themselves into the ocean. I guess now the coast is clear!", Morou said as he snapped his fingers, somehow waiting for a "beat" to drop. Only the cawing of a seagull, the same seagull as before, was heard.

Kelby couldn't help but shoot Morou somewhat of an annoyed gaze, his eyes comically thin as he gave him a judgemental stare. "You're honestly just a carnival trick." Looking towards the island, Kelby couldn't help but worry. Envy had taken off on a smaller boat attached to the larger ship, despite it also being considerably small. "Do you think that was a good idea? I mean, there's the possibility that caused a ruckus on the island. We may end up facing more troops than we originally intended now."

“So!? Don’t be a pussy Kelby, we can handle any bitch that comes out way or at least, I can.” Osiris said in his normal intense tone way louder than he should be swatting Kelby on the back with encouragement.

Kelby looked towards Osiris with the same stare he gave Morou, his face unchanging since his last statement and his current. "And what did you do during the battle against the Sirens?"

Finally passing through the massive columns of stone that naturally defended the island of Foodvalten, Kelby could finally see the beauty and splendor that was the island. Envy had passed by these walls ahead of the remainder of the group, scouting out the area. Chances are, if anyone had been there, then Envy would have taken care of some of them and been clearing through the rest at this moment. However, something didn't seem right. Morou said the troops on the beach tossed themselves into the ocean, yet they were standing on the beach as if nothing happened.

"Guys...something isn't-" Suddenly, the ship began rocking. The waves became more and more vicious as the seconds went by. Eventually it became harder and harder for everyone to stay balanced. Kelby took the effort to grab onto Morou, knowing that his blindness would make it even more difficult to remain balanced, especially due to the instability now induced on the location.

Suddenly, a number of faint purple glows were visible in the water. It moved around, all under the ship, it seemed as if it was encircling the ship. Analyzing it. Examining it. Preparing to prey upon it.

Suddenly, a lengthy appendage swiftly lunged onto the deck of the ship. A single, massive tentacle flung about the top of the boat. It was searching for something, anything. Viciously scouting for someone to drug into the depths of the ocean. Would it find it's prey? Evidently it had, latching onto Kelby and pulling him into the ocean, Morou along with him. Osiris would be left on the ship alone, but not for long as a vicious torrent of water collided with the boat from below. The force easily tossed the tiny ship into the island of Foodvalten, causing it to crash someplace within the village.

Water and Plants and Ghost, Oh My![]

At the bay where Kelby and Morou had been dragged under, Kelby opened his eyes within the murky depths. What he saw amazed him, yet simultaneously terrified him. A massive entity beneath the waves, the soft, alluring lips could only belong to a woman. The size immense, there was no doubt, it had to have been a Mermaid. But not your usual mermaid, no, one who was birthed with the body of an octopus. Her beauty was staggering, but her danger seemed greater.

However, Kelby quickly nodded the weight attached to his person. He looked over to his hand, only to realize that he had accidentally dragged Morou down with him. "Shit!" He thought to himself. Kelby may have been able to sustain himself, even for a moment within the water. But Morou? Needless to say, those who consumed Devil Fruits and water didn't get along well. Kelby quickly took one of his guns in hand, releasing Morou and aiming it at the Doctor's chest. He pulled the trigger, releasing a Pop Green that would burst into a massive kelp. The intent being to push Morou to the surface, and hopefully onto shore where he wouldn't be in danger. Well...not immediate danger anyway.

"AAAAh! "cough! cough!". Morou recovered consciousness seconds after landing on the surface of the island. "The heck was that!?" he screamed in confusion. He immediately noticed Kelby wasn't with him. Whatever that thing was, it was still with Kelby, underwater!

But he wasn't safe yet, as a few men surrounded him, weapons pointed. "Hey! Surrender pea-" Morou didn't let them finish, as he sent his dark spirits into the soldiers, depriving them of some of their senses.

He then rushed into the shore, careful not to touch the seawater. He felt Kelby's aura, but how could he help him? "i got it!" Morou sent more of his spirits to find something that could help Kelby. His spirits, aside from being ethereal, could also solidify themselves, enabling them to interact with physical objects. He took the kelp Kelby had used to save him, and along with some vines, made a makeshift rope, which his spirits moved over just above Kelby's location. The long vine-rope would be sent underwater, hoping Kelby grabbed it so he could be dragged to the surface.

"I hope Morou is alright up there." Kelby spoke, quickly readjusting his gun to get a good look at the woman before him.

Even in the water, it was more than obvious that the woman dwarfed Kelby by a massive margin. She looked at him face to face, even if her size caused it to be more like her eye to Kelby's eye. "Who had the balls to enter my territory-blublublu?" She raised both of her hands at an unbelievable speed. Kelby would feel the waters beneath him shift. The calm flow of the ocean would suddenly turn to a more than untamed and wild rapid of sea water.

Morou would find that his rope would be of no use, not after Kelby would be sent flying into the sky. "AHHHHH! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" He screamed out loud, however, before his descent could even come, he felt himself being grabbed by something constricting his entire person.

"I, am Avanmora! Which of you fools had the gull to sink my men into the water?" She spoke, squeezing Kelby tighter and tighter as she allowed her gaze to fall on the blind Morou, who couldn't return the gaze even in the slightest.

From Morou's mouth, several little ghouls came out, the same dark spirits he had been using before. They dashed at high speeds over to Kelby's direction.

Morou was riding two of them, one beneath each feet, and made his way to Avanmora herself. The others went over to the tentacle holding Kelby, and passed through it, all three of them. Morou stood close into Avanmora's face, "Nice to meet you, Avanmora! I am Daiki Morou, and you should let my friend go. I mean, you won't have any other choice..."

As the three spirits passed through her, she could feel her strength on her tentacle waning away after each passing one. "The five senses aren't the only things my dark hollows can steal away!"

Feeling the spirits slip through her person, Avanmora could feel her immense strength going away. He tried to hold onto Kelby with what little strength she was still capable of mustering. "I am a Hunter-blublublu! You think this could sto-" Avanmora attempted to intimidate Morou, or at the very least, belittle his efforts. However, her gaze would turn onto Kelby, who seemed to have gathered the strength to begin to combat the massive mermaid's tentacles.

"Tch! A puny human like you thinks he can stop me-blublublue?" Avanmora would raise more of her tentacles, aiming to restrain Kelby with the force of many of her limbs in place of one. Although it had been difficult for one to tell on account of her tentacle headwear, her veins were popping as she attempted to gather all it took to squeeze the life out the young pirate. However she hadn't been getting anywhere, and she could feel her powers going by the second.

Kelby, on the other hand, hadn't been suffering much pain from Avanmora's attempts to slaughter him. All due to Morou's spirits, he had been spared of any painful torments the massive mermaid would've put him through. "Hell yea I can stop you!" Kelby shouted. Noticing Avanmora's strength only waned by the second, Kelby placed his foot against one of her many tentacles, pushing against it to slip from her grasp. Slipping through the woman's fingers, er, tentacles, Kelby quickly twirled his pistols in preparation to return fire.

"Wanna see what this human's got? Umi Furoura: Sunflower!" Kelby shouted. Pulling the trigger on one of his guns, a pop green rocketed into the ocean, causing a big bloop along with it's arrival. Within an instant, a massive green stem would begin to grow from the ocean. It's height even exceeding the massive Avanmora. The bulb at the tip would sprout wide open once it had taken in the grandness of the sun above. Harnessing the power of the astrological object, the center of the flower's petals illuminated with a gorgeous yellow hue. Then, and only then, the sunflower would release a powerful beam of concentrated light towards the Octopus's direction. Her body would be engulfed by the luminous attack. And soon after all of the light had been released, a massive explosion would come of the collision. All the while Kelby had been airborne behind the flower, resulting in one badass imagery of the young marksman.

Following the destructive attack, Kelby would stick a landing on the beach alongside Morou, sliding on the sand as he attempted to stop the momentum from his movements. Continuing to look at the ocean in search of Avanmora, Kelby couldn't help but shoot a comment at Morou. "You only hit her cause she's one big ass target, Blindy." Kelby teased, a joyful expression on his face. "Thanks for the assist."

After such a destructive combo, Avanmora had found herself in immense pain. However, it was nothing compared to what she'd handled in the past. Dipping back into the ocean to prepare her next assault, Avanmora would find that the strength taken from her moments before would flow back in as she soaked in the sea water. "Ahh, so he's one of the Devil's apprentices-blublublu? Takokokoko, I'll kill that fool!" Raising all of her tentacles and her arms, resulting in a total of ten appendages, Avanmora gripped the water around her as if it were something of tangibility. Underwater, neither Morou nor Kelby would hear Avanmora's call, but she simply couldn't resist the urge. "Cerulean Rain!"

Tossing forward all of her limbs at once, Avanmora chucked a total of ten projectiles. The attack would burst out from under the sea with no restraint. All of the massive blast would fly into the sky, however, much like a missile from a mortar, the columns of water would come crashing down with force greater than a cannon ball and even capable of shaving mountains in seconds. The sizes and numbers of the pillars would cover the entirety of the beach, leaving no time for Morou or Kelby to avoid Avanmora's assault, leaving them at her mercy.

"Tch! We're not in the clear yet, you second-rate sniper!" Morou sensed a large scale attack coming from the sea. He expelled a total of ten spirits, barely in time to intercept the attack. Morou then took a defensive stance in front of Kelby, and the spirits, in their solid forms, began spinning rapidly around the duo, creating a wheel that would be strong enough to repel the damage they otherwise would've taken.

Morou only focused on the projectiles that would directly affect them, as such, the other ones crashed on the beach, creating a massive impact that immediately mixed dust and water together. His ten spirits didn't survive the attack, but managed to protect Kelby and Morou. Quickly, he tapped Kelby in the shoulder and made him signals to run deeper inland, as fighting such a monster on her turf would prove difficult.

As he ran, Morou kept expelling dark ghosts from his mouth, leaving them behind him, spread all over the beach and forest. "Kelby come on! We need to get further from the beach! I'll leave a "mine field" for her in case she follows!"

"Takokoko!" Avanmora bellowed, watching as Morou and Kelby attempted to flee from her wraith. She allowed them to move away from her a bit. But to escape her? She wouldn't dare let happen. After all, what better way to catch a prey than to torment it forest. "Takokoko!" Avanmora would roar out yet again. She would spin around in circles, raising her tentacles to cover her as if she were a flower. Descending back into the depths of the ocean, the movements of her gigantic figure caused water to splash and fly into the free world.

Kelby followed Morou's suggestion, following behind him as to not loose pace. Not that there was much of a pace to keep up with. After all, Morou was the blind one here. Nevertheless, Kelby would suddenly stop in his tracks, reaching forward to grab Morou as he did so. The ground beneath the two would rumble as something catastrophic moved through it's crust. Suddenly, he would see it. A massive wall of water would rise before the two. It's size so large that it seemed to even reach into the sky islands above. The colossal construct separated Morou and Kelby from the mainland, leaving them stranded on the beach with no option but to confront the mermaid on her terms.

However, the assault wouldn't end there. Morou had placed his spirits like landmines in an attempt to hinder Avanmora if she were to tread on land. But why would she leave her territory when it served it's job just fine? The ground would continue to rumble, and beneath Morou and Kelby, another pillar of water would emerge from beneath the earth with force equal to or even surpassing that of her previous assault that left the beach decimated in her wake. And unlike the first attack, Morou wouldn't have the same time to block the attack, and his senses wouldn't be of much help with determining the location of the assault seeing as it had caused the entirety of the earth to shift.

Morou was sent flying upwards as the massive water pillar obstructed their way and another hit them. "Damn! Losing...strength" Morou gripped Kelby's hand tightly, as a fall from such altitude could kill the sniper. As the continued going upwards, one of the ghosts Morou had left behind managed to catch up to them, just in time to grab Morou's leg and pull him out of the pillar.

Now the duo went down, free falling into the ground. "It seems we have to face her head on!" Morou expelled more ghosts, enough to grab Kelby and himself and help them glide in the sky, and eight more to aid Morou in engaging their enemy.

Morou then created three more, smaller ones, that he flung into the sea at immense speeds. They went into the water, slowly losing strength and disipatting as they went deeper. But that was their purpose, as even if they were weak to water, they would still help Morou in determining her location. Before the three small ghosts could dissipate fully, they detonated in the water, causing small, but annoying shock waves that aimed to disrupt Avanmora's momentum.

"Here! Look where she is and use and attack on her!", Morou grabbed Kelby, and with his Kenbunshoku, he managed to somehow pass on the "vision" that his three little ghosts had witnessed, revealing Avanmora's position. "Pull her out of the water somehow! I just need to hit her once or twice!" yelled Morou to Kelby as the duo glided closer into the beach.

"How do you insist I pull that fuckin behemoth from the ocean?! Does it look like I'm Lyov?" Kelby retorted, at a lost for ideas on what to do in the situation.

"Tch!! FINE! I'll do it!", remarked Morou. Releasing a massive ghost, Morou launched it at the ocean. This ghost was composed of dozens of more inside. As the outer one dissipated because of the water, the next one underneath would keep forward, going deeper and repeating the process until reaching Avanmora. When it finally drew close to her, it split into four ghosts, composed of three inside each, as such, two would serve as protection for the last one. He had to make it count.

The moved around Avanmora at great speed, in order to create confusion and make Avanmora make a wrong move, as she'd already been hit by one, losing a bit of strength, it was possible she thought that was all the ghosts could do, if she somehow hadn't noticed the guards from earlier, and with that, one layer dissipated. The next ones then shot forward, aiming at attacking four different spots. One would try to hit one of her tentacles, which would remove her sense of touch. Another one aimed for her left shoulder, which if hit would remove her sense of hearing, the third one aimed at her stomach, removing more of her strength, and the last one aimed at her head, removing her sense of self.

Morou counted on at least one hitting, as creating so many more at a time took some stamina out of him. "Let's see how this goes, Kelby!"

As Morou's specters came towards Avanmora, she couldn't help but feel a need to laugh. "Tch, he's nothing more than a one-trick-poney-blublublu." Avanmora pulled back the water around her, grabbing it with her tentacles through use of her Merman Combat. She would begin to spin around ferociously in the murky depths of the sea, pulling the tides along with her. This resulted in a deadly torrent that produced currents that could shred human skin through complete ease. And Morou's ghost had been no different. They were torn and swallowed by the wraith of her underwater typhoon, but she wouldn't allow that to be the end of her assault. No, there was so much more she can do.

On the surface, Kelby and Morou would both notice that directly above Avanmora's location was a whirlpool. It was the top of her underwater tornado, and the point where it would all come out from. As her funnel continued to spin, with no sign of ending, an unbelievable amount of rubble would begin to fly from the top. Dragged from the very bottom of the sea itself, stones and rocks and fresh pulled slabs of earth were uprooted from the ocean floor due to the force of Avanmora's whirlpool. And through her grand might, she had launched it through the top of her under sea tornado to rain upon the intruders like sharpnel of varying sizes.

"Shit"...

That was the only thought on Morou's mind, as his ghosts were decimated by her powers, and the pillar of water and debris fell down on them. "Gyaaah!" Morou exclaimed as he was being cut on various places, as he tried to shield Kelby from the attack, and jump away as far away as he could.

As the water crashed into the ground, even though they managed to avoid the brunt of it, the remaining waves washed them further inland. Morou was weakened, but manashed to grab hold of a branch, and expelling a ghost, he grabbed Kelby and made way for higher ground.

"That...fucking...uuuuhg!!", he exclaimed, panting and scared at almost losing his life. "Damnit, if only Lyov were here!!!!! He could've been cooking that bitch for dinner by now!"

He took a deep breath, and exhaled. He saw they had been washed quite a distance from the sea, which worked for them. There was no way he could fight such a monster in a setting where she was twice as powerful. "Kelby, we gotta go even deeper into the island, and draw her into a corner somehow! Yes...we need to make her destroy her own territory!...come on!"

Morou grabbed hold of Kelby once more, expelled a ghost, and as they stood above it, Morou commanded it to explode, propelling the duo forward at great speed. "OOOOIII!!! Takoyaki-chan!! KISS MY ASS!!!"

Kelby watched as Morou tried to protect him, soon noting that Morou had taken off in pursuit to reach the village. A frown arose on Kelby's face as these actions took place, noting the actions the literal blind man did in an attempt to protect the gunslinger, who was perfectly able. Kelby would rip his arm free of Morou's grip, twirling his pistol as he prepared for the worse.

Morou would continue running, perhaps his failure to see had caused the man to completely forget that there had been a wall of skin-shredding water that separated the shore from the remainder of the island. As Morou continued to run, he would slip through it unharmed. In fact, it lacked the amount of moisture it originally portrayed itself to have.

This was another way Avanmora utilized her Mermaid Combat. Much like how advanced users of Fishman Karate manipulated water vapors to perform attacks, Avanmora was capable of manipulating water vapors and even the smallest molecules of water in the air and create optical illusions. It was a trick on the eyes, a play on vision. Something that didn't affect those who couldn't see; those like Morou.

"TAKOKOKO!" Avanmora laughed, sensing that Morou had breached her wave of water. "You want to run away-blublublu? Fine by me! I'll find more pleasure in killing you outside my own territory!" Avanmora remarked, although no one would hear her besides her inner thoughts. Nevertheless, she continued to spin in her whirlpool before pushing over the waves, lunging into the sunlight while pulling a mass spiral of water alongside her person.

"HEY, BLINDY!" Kelby remarked to Morou, "I CAN HANDLE MYSELF YOU THIRD-RATE DOCTOR!" As Avanmora rotated her body in an attempt to strike the fleeing Morou with her deadly vortex of sea water, the young gunslinger pulled out his pistols, aiming them with great precision. "Umi Furoura: Thirsty Willow!" Kelby pulled the trigger on his pistol. From the pop green it fired, a massive tree was born. Avanmora's water would slam into it's body, any damage she expected to be done to Morou would have been done to it. Or so she would've thought. Instead, the tree seemed to absorb every drop of water that came with Avanmora's attack, countering it and leaving her defenseless.

"Quick! Morou! Lure her deeper into the village!" Kelby shouted, quickly turning and chasing after Morou in order to keep the Mermaid following.

Morou had no time to think of a comeback for Kelby's insults, he was focusing on not dying at the moment. Lure her? Yes, it had been his intention but, such devastating power, he now wasn't sure whether whatever he tried would be affective.

"I didn't sign up for this shit!" He hurried along while he thought at that moment of an exciting idea. He released more ghosts from his mouth, which merged and formed into a larger one, not unlike before. The black ghost then twisted around Morou's body, and shot itself towards the large tree Kelby had created.

Morou kept releasing ghosts, as he began to pant, the fatigue was getting to him. Once the large ghost reached the tree, it would explode violently, the tree along with it, creating a shockwave and causing Avanmora's field of vision to be limited, as the explosion would hide the duo from her. However the shrapnel from the tree was aimed at her location, incoming at great speeds and far too, controlled.

Indeed, the other ghosts burst forward, using the explosion to mask themselves as the flung towards Avanmora in order to pierce her body with pieces of wood, while others just flew towards above her, flying in circles while laughing and teasing her. They began to speak to her, each of them using different voice tones. "Hahahaha! You overgrown fish! You can't even catch two little punks? All those water shows, who taught you that, your circus owner?!"

However, this was far from the limits of his plan, as once the reached her, the ghosts would then aim to enter her body, and execute their ability, robbing her of her sense of sight or hearing if even one of the few dozen ghosts managed to get through. Morou then glared at Kelby, "You can't handle shit you..." He turned forward and continued running, having not taught of another good comeback yet...

As Morou's ghost detonated, the energy released caused the gigantic Mermaid to reel back momentarily, dazed for a moment as she attempted to recover from it. However that wasn't before the flying chunks of wood tore through her skin, causing blood to leak from Avanmora's fresh wounds. "When I get my hands on you, I'll eat you like fresh sushi-blublublu!" She let out in anger at the insults the Doctor chucked at her. Avanmora attempted to throw forward more water bullets, only to find that something had constricted her hands.

"Nice shit No-Eyes!" Kelby spoke, having taken the time Morou used to distract and attack Avanmora to restrict her hands. "Now just shoot some big ass demolition ghosts into her stomach or something! I know you can do it! Fucking shit up is like, your specialty." Kelby once more teased, feeling his body beginning to be dragged as Avanmora once more tried moving her hands.

"Damnit you!" Morou exclaimed, stopping mid-run to turn back, as he breathed heavily. Using one of his ghost as a flying mechanism, he jumped on it, and sped towards Avanmora's direction.

"You've been an even bigger pain than guns for brains over here!", he yelled as he passed by Kelby. As he closed in at great speeds, he jumped off his ghost, letting it go through the giant merfolk's body. Morou fell to the floor, and raised a thumb towards Kelby. "I hope this is good bye!"

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAAA!!!!" Avanmora let loose, the screams of agony shaking the very foundations of the island. Her bellows of pain and torment would penetrate even the bedrock to the deepest depths of sea, piercing the heavens to the moon above, and reaching the one location she wished it wouldn't have reached the most. The Temple. Morou's ghost inside Avanmora would detonate, releasing a shock wave that would injure her insides severely, organs would rupture and succumb to the might of the explosion. With her threshold for pain completely destroyed, Avanmora had no choice but to fall upon the ground, a massive thud that broke buildings and concrete due to her massive size broke loose. The Sea Witch Cecaelia defeated.

"Ha...Ha...Man, I'm a doctor. I'm supposed to heal people, not tear them apart!", Morou exclaimed as he continued to breath heavily while lying on the ground.

"I think, it's over. Idiot Kelby...At least we're in one piece!"

Kelby looked at Avanmora's fallen figure with delight, quickly shifting his gaze to Morou afterwards. "Who says a doctor can't kick ass, eh? Or was it a blind bastard? Doesn't really matter, you're both." Kelby spoke, a glint coming from his two pistols as he laid them back on his waist.

"I'm gonna take a little break, carrying us this whole fight sure does a number on my back." Kelby gave a smug wink, not like Morou could see that however. "I'd wager that temple over there has something worth checking out." Kelby pointed, yet again, Morou couldn't see it in the slightest.

Blazing the Trails[]

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" A confused Osiris said as he looked at his surroundings, he had seemingly landed smack dab in the center of the island. He sat on the ground as the island's inhabitants stared at him in confusion. He looked around at the people, they wore feathers on their heads and were all seemingly working when he crashed. Osiris rose from the ground dusting himself off, seemingly unharmed by the crash. "Do any of you speak English!?" He said placing a large emphasis on his words, slowly trailing over them as if talking to children.

The natives stared at Osiris with eyes of confusion and concern, some dropping any items they had on their person while doing work. It was silence for a moment after the Pirate's question. Almost as if everyone was too frightened to speak up.

"Of course we speak English you fucktard!" A voice called out in the background. Looking over at it's owner, it was evident that a teen boy had been the one who spoke out. Everyone turned to look at the youth, some of the older individuals shushing him for his outburst. Regardless of the attempts to silence him, he continued to speak. "He's literally discriminating against us because of our clothes, what do you expect me to say? Oh Jah, vombaboomboomboom!?" He shouted sarcastically, throwing on a faux accent during his second sentence.

"Who you calling a fucktard!? YOU CHICKEN HEADED BITCH!" Osiris screamed. The teen boys words angered him to say the least. Osiris always had a very short temper and this was a prime example of his uncontrollable anger. "COME OVER HERE AND SAY IT TO MY FACE, BITCH. I FUCKING DARE YOU, DO IT SO I CAN SHOVE MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS YOU SNEEZE TOENAILS!" The mains sudden outburst shocked the civilians around him, even for a man scorned this reaction was far more extreme than anyone would expect, but alas, he wasn't most men and his reactions were far from normal. He stood fuming as he eyed the unknown teen boy almost daring him with his eyes.

The teen stared at Osiris with nothing more than a face of shock. His mouth was wide open, the things that flew from Osiris's own was foul to say the least. "Oh my god." The teen would then reach into his back pocket, pulling out a wrapped up candy bar. He extended it towards Osiris, his tone going back to it's normal sarcasm. "Take this Swickers Bar. You're not you when you're hungry."

Osiris stared at the young boy, at this point the veins in his head were far from protruding, nearly ripping from his own head. He simply stared at the boy in anger as he handed him a candy bar. Seconds later, Osiris dropped to the floor digging his hands into the ground and in an act of pure rage his pulled his arms up motioning as if he was planning to rip the ground up from under the boy, and that he did. A wave of what seemed to be the earth from beneath the boy flew up, it would move to carry the boy with him, burying him under the ground itself if he did nothing to halt this.

Standing still, the teen continued to watch as Osiris flipped out over his antics. He couldn't help but chuckle at bit, but instead of making any sounds, he just held a cocky grin in the Pirate's face. That was, however, before he saw the ground start to give way to Osiris's movements. "W-what the f-" The boy instantly stopped, noticing what he had been seeing. However, before he could even escape, the wave of earth had just about buried him. Just about.

Once Osiris's assault had finally ended, the boy had seemingly been devoured by the earth. This left a number of the bystanders completely dazed and speechless, unable to grasp what they had just seen. That was until they all noticed a figure standing off to the side. Or two figures to be exact. It was Micky, who had somehow zoomed in quickly enough to retrieve the rowdy teen and escape the assault. He would go on to place the boy down to stand, who would eventually run off while cursing swears at Osiris.

"DAMN FUCKIN CRAZY ASSHOLE LUNATIC!" He shouted, fleeing into the distance.

Micky, on the other hand, seemed to force something down his throat in a gulp. "L-Listen. I can pretend this never happened if you just leave. If you go quick enough, I'm sure Master Delmire wouldn't even notice." Micky pushed out, giving Osiris an ultimatum, hoping he would choose to leave before furthering the situation even more than he already had.

"SUCK. MY. DICK!" Osiris yelled into the man's face, holding no regards for his cautionary tale, going on with his outburst of pure anger. Osiris's head would now have several veins bulging from it as he sized up the man before him, he didn't seem to be a native, could he be connected to the events from just a few moments ago? "LISTEN HERE, YOU'RE GONNA TELL ME WHO THIS DELMIRE BITCH IS AND GIVE ME BACK MY CREWMATES, NO MATTER HOW ANNOYING THEY ARE!" Osiris screamed into the man's face, no regards for personal space or manners.

At Osiris's outburst, Micky would quickly jump at the loud man's voice. Out of not only fear of him, but fear of what would happen if he didn't get his temper under control. Micky would hold up a hand in an attempt to calm Osiris, stepping back as he did so. "P-Please you have to calm down. If you keep yelling like that then I won't be able to get you out of here. By now Avanmora or Amias may already have their hands on your crewmates. I-I'm sorry but, they're as good as dead by now." He spoke apologetically, sweat dripping down his face.

"DEADDDD?!?!" Osiris's jaw dropped at the realization his less than beloved crewmates may or may not be dead and at the repurcutions, he would face at the hands of Kerrim. "You said their names were Avanmora and Amias, right?" Osiris asked the sweaty man, before cupping his hands around his mouth to amplify his sound. "AVANMORA!!! AMIAS!!! BRING ME BACK MY GODDAMN CREWMATES RIGHT THE FUCK NOWWW!!" Osiris screamed, walking back and forth in hopes he would get a rise out of the two figures the man before him seemed to work under.

"S-Stop! Please! If you keep yelling then...then. I-I'll be forced to fight you!" Micky called out, hoping to put at end to Osiris's shouting. He didn't want to, that had been painted all over the lad's face. But even then, there was the decision. Either do what he felt was right, or risk bringing the wrath of Delmire down upon him. Osiris hadn't been giving Micky much choice, and ultimately, they'd have to fight as a result.

Osiris turned to the man, without uttering a word a dark gleam took place in his eye, not a good sign at all. "SAY LESS!" Osiris screamed, before performing the same move he had done to the young feather-headed boy prior. The ground under him was lifted into the air, this time bigger and faster, mostly due to Osiris's elevated anger. If Micky didn't move fast enough he would be buried under the great power of the ground itself.

Eyes wide in shock as Osiris hadn't hesitated even for a moment to attack Micky, the boy knew he had to abandon all his own desires now. Otherwise, he knew what would happen. He would quickly do a handstand, pushing off the ground with his arms to back away from Osiris's tsunami earth. However, it continued to come at him. Now Micky backed away by hopping, however it didn't do much to distance him. He pushed off with a final kick that nearly pushed him above the tsunami's height. Nearly.

His leg was caught in the wave, and Micky was now being dragged by it. As the wave reached the point it would crash down, Micky took his free leg and pushed against the tsunami with all his might. Having freed himself, he still obtained a few scars and bruises from the fall. But he was convinced that was better than whatever else would've happened. A smirk rose from the corner of his mouth, attempting to keep a cool facade. But it was easy to spot the holes in his mask. "T-That was nothing! J-Just retreat. You don't want anything of what I'm gonna do!"

Despite Micky's words, Osiris took no heed to his empty warnings. Osiris would dive into the ground, leaving a small hole where he previously stood, now nowhere to be seen. Osiris would be digging his way to the injured man from underground, using his devil fruits abilities to make a sneak attack on the man. As he approached the man's location

He then leaped from beneath the ground at great speed and force, popping up directly in front of the man. Without a second thought he would launch a fist at the man, however, there was something odd about this attack, to the untrained eye it would seem almost as if they were seeing double, but in reality there was an entire second arm trailing close behind the fist, with just as much speed and force as the first, ensuring a large amount of damage to his opponent if his attack were to land.

It was futile. No matter what Micky tried to do, be it pleading or intimidation, Osiris refused to fall back even the slightest. Eyes wide at the pirates refusal to submit, Micky was ultimately frozen in complete shock. His body refused to move, maybe even it knew the boy was better off dead. Osiris's fist, err, fists would effortlessly connect with Micky's torso. The force immense, the boy could've sworn that Osiris had destroyed his entire lung. Or maybe he was just exaggerating. Nevertheless, he soared back due to the power of the impact. His flight was only stopped by the incredibly massive cliff that Micky would find his body being thrown through with no issue, making it all the more clear that Osiris was far stronger than he seemed.

Pulling himself from the rubble, Micky would only stare at Osiris. A single tear rolled down his face, was it from the pain or from something else going on in the lad's life. His eventually rise would be met with a quick thud, and before long, he would be back to his full stature. Reaching into his pocket, Micky pulled out what seemed to be a seed of some sort. He would pop it into his mouth without hesitation, a form of determination in his eyes. "I-If you want stand down, then I'll have to destroy you myself!" Micky spoke. And so it was decided. Micky would fight.

Almost in an instant, Micky would have gathered and tossed up nearly every single rock or pebble that had been thrown about after his crash into the wall. His pain had all but vanished, the seed he devoured having done it's job. As the pebbles stood in the air, Micky almost instantaneously made his movement. Doing a kick, the speed and force of his strike caused the wind's to curve around his leg and into the rocks. As a result, each and every bit of the earth was shot towards Osiris like bullets. The stone turned to projectiles as it sought to impale and damage the man's figure. Micky's face had become still as stone, but he couldn't stop that single sweat droplet from forming.

Osiris watched as the once pained man stood to his feet and launched a high speed attack at him. “I swear, WHY CAN’T SHIT EVER JUST BE SHORT AND EASY!” Osiris screamed, dropping his arm to the floor, pulling the ground up from below him blocking the rocks with a veil of ground.

As the rocks collided with the ground they would stick out from the wall, having deeply impaled it. Osiris would waste not a second, punching into the ground wall before him, coating his fist in the wall almost like a spiked gauntlet before charging at the man and in the process coating the gauntlet in a layer of black, his fist tensing as he went to smash it directly into the mans body as higher speeds then the rocks shot prior.

As Osiris came charging, Mickey rose one leg, balancing all of his weight on the other. "Okokokok. You can do this! You! Got! THIS!" Mickey pumped himself up. He then begun to spin his body as quickly as possible, going for some form of a spin kick to combat Osiris's own assault. The wind rising from his speed was so cool, so fast, and so refreshing. Osiris would likely feel his body tempature drop a good degree or two. It seemed like an impregnable defense, one that even stone would fail to breach. There had been no possible way Osiris could penetrate it, even if-nevermind

Osiris's fist broke through the defense Mickey attempted to put up with ease. The four-armed man with three eyes easily demolished what little hope Mickey had left. The young lad was essentially dragged with the force of the older man's fist, being thrown right back into the wall he had risen from moments earlier.

Mickey struggled to sit back up, his attempt to stand back up was met with him falling back down, the pain and fatigue of the situation finally reaching him. "Heh...I guess I was in over my head huh." Mickey spoke, bringing a hand over his face, trying to fight back the tears as he remained with what little confidence was left. He sat quietly, watching for whatever Osiris would do next.

Cold Blooded[]

Treading through another section of the village, Amias and Chumana had sent Micky to deal with the nearby crash of a boat. Clearly someone had thought this land was up for grabs. And it was up to this deadly duo to prove them otherwise. "So, Chumana. Can you smell them?"

The snake flicked it's tongue, finding something of interest. The smell was one that you would pick up in a brothel or bar or pub. A heavily alcoholic content that just made the serpent sick to it's stomach. Seriously, how could humans shove so much of this shit down their mouths? Chumana just couldn't grasp the suicidal and insane thoughts that people experienced. Who would willingly drink so much alcohol that they would reek of it for this long of a duration? Absolutely disgusting!

Suddenly, Chumana and Amias would stop their march. The serpent perking up as it found it's target. Looking forward, a blue haired lad stood amongst a scattered line of foot troops who attempted to stand in his way. A smirk would grow on the man's face, looking towards the trespasser and finding himself amused at the sight. "What luck! Seems Mora and the brat aren't the only two getting some fun in!" He shouted, aiming to grab the attention of whoever the invader had been.

"Hmm?" Envy dismissively grunted as he heard the sound of a snake hissing. Turning around, he saw the pair of snake and human together and realized what he was discussing. "Ah, do I have to beat your ass too? Fuckin' finally. I've had enough to drink that my body agrees with my mind." Envy began to walk forward. Despite the copious amounts of alcohol reeking from his body in the form of vapor, he continued to walk straight and unhinged, almost as if the alcohol did nothing to his brain's functions.

He stomped on the ground, announcing his presence and strength by sending a small shockwave towards Chumana and Amias, causing the ground to shiver in response, and small fissures to appear in the immediate area. Was he serious from the get-go? Indeed. Envy did not play around with any opponents, because in the time that it took playing around, the alcohol in his body would wear out. And, more than anything, Envy despised fighting the same way as the Yurei Tribe did.

Willing to get the battle started from the beginning. Amias could find himself having quite the bit of fun in devouring the confidence that formed Envy's personality. The shockwave coming towards the duo was quite the dangerous attack. It held immense force behind it, force that shook even the earth it had been born from. Amias could recognize inhuman strength when he saw it, and the force behind this attack was much greater than anything he had seen a human produce before.

The instant reaction he had to it was to observe it's true power. With the shockwave rolling towards him with intent to tear him asunder. Amias instead stood his ground, challenging it's power. He awaited it, thinking nothing of the attack. Yet, as any fighter would, he braced himself for it's impact. The full force of the shockwave slammed against Amias's figure. He let out a brief grunt as he gritted his teeth in pain. For in the time that the attack tore into his body, he experienced a great deal of pain, but it was nothing he could handle. A portion of his outfit had been torn, but it had little importance, for now he had felt out the strength of his opponent.

Amias's scaly companion had a change in plans however, not daring to take an attack head on. Instead, the snake coiled itself up briefly before pushing off the ground to leap over the attack. It slithered through the air, soaring towards Envy at a height of roughly five feet above the ground. Getting closer to the one daring enough to attack it's master, Chumana opened it's mouth. From it, the serpent expelled a concentrated blast of some misty white substance. The further it go, the more it seemed to expand into a form of fog. The fog would go to envelope Envy, and although it was no where near lethal, it held a purpose to weaken the Yurei.

Envy looked up at the snake that sought to spray a white substance over him. Envy was plenty of things, including a bit dense, but he wasn't an idiot. As opposed to tank the hit like his human opponent over on the other end, Envy pushed himself backwards by jumping off his right leg, before performing a backflip in order to avoid the majority of the white mist. However, a small portion seemed to reach him, causing Envy to grunt in irritation again.

By the time he performed the backflip, Envy had already gone closer to a small vendor. Using the layered roofs to his advantage, Envy leaped onto the lower roof and shot himself towards the snake. He clenched both hands together into a double fist, and hoped to knock the snake's head down into the ground, pummeling it and hopefully defeating it in a single strike.

Taking note of Envy's movements, Chumana's gazes seemed way too focused for any animal. This snake held a certain intelligence to it. Although it had the eyes of a serpent, a sentient life was visible within it's steel gaze. As Envy was to bring both of his fist onto the snakes body, it reared it's head up, opening it's mouth in response.

Knowing it couldn't dodge, Chumana aimed to sink it's fangs into Envy's skin to inject it's milky white substance as a venom in place of a poisonous mist. Now it had become obvious, this was no normal serpent. It held strategy in it's mind. And it was up to Envy to decided whether he'd land the hit at the risk of falling prey to the venom, or if he'd pull back while he could.

Amias on the other hand, wouldn't dare allow his snake to fight alone. The two were a duo. And every duo fought together. Amias would perform a somersault, the power in his legs allowing him to gain high altitude. At the stage where he would stick a landing however, he was far above the ground. Instead, his legs would kick out to collide with the Yurei's skull, pushing him into the cement that constructed the pathways of Foodvalten.

"Ya' think something like that will pierce my skin?!" Envy shouted, as he quickly shrouded himself in a layer of Busoshoku Haki, which was dense enough that it caused Chumana's fangs to bounce off, leaving the milky white substance dropping off the surface of his skin as well. The strike landed with full force, which would no doubt force the snake to feel considerable pain.

At the same time, Envy himself was struck by the snake's human partner, being forced backwards. Thankfully, the density of his skin naturally, courtesy to being a member of the Yurei Tribe, was quite high, as a result of his body's coldness. Although he hated to admit it, being a member of the Yurei Tribe had its own perks.

The strike to his head did hurt however, and as he got up from the ground, he was briefly disoriented. Slamming his fists together, he brought himself back to normal. "Two versus one isn't really a great matchup, but whatever." Envy grunted, and pushed forward with incredible speed and strength, forcing rubble to rise from the shockwaves of his movements, as he clenched his fists, with the intent of battering the snake that had remained on the ground, while the human was still descending from the air.

Bounce. Chumana's fangs bounced off the man's skin, then it was slammed into the ground, and the force caused it's head to bounce off the ground due to the immense force. Everything was a haze for a second or so, however it's eyes would soon be fixated back onto Envy's approaching figure. The serpent would force it's body to compress. As it's glands narrowed and grew closer to the entrance, being squeezed to the point it was almost ready to burst, Chumana would allow it's mouth to open. Doing so allowed the snake to unleash a pressurized spray of it's poisonous mist unlike the free version used before hand. The force should, in an ideal situation, push Envy back enough for Chumana to properly recover.

Amias would still be coming down after landing his strike on the Yurei, he was propelled back into the air as the counter force pushed against him. However, it truly allowed the man more time to prepare himself. "It's been quite a minute before I've done this." As his feet came closer to a nearby building, he'd push off against it with all the strength he had in his legs, rocketing towards Envy as fast as he possibly could.

The attack, however, wouldn't serve to harm Envy, but pressure him instead. Amias's body seemed to become loose, almost as if devoid of bones. Instead of aiming directly for Envy, Amias intended to land just close enough to the man's backside that he would leap further ahead to avoid being caught up in the aftermath. Directly before the strike, Amias's body tensed back up, almost as if reverting between body of a snake and human's at will.

"You aren't goin' that easily!" Envy was pushed back by the force of the spray, but he had hardened his skin once more with a layer of Busoshoku Haki. This black pigment, combined with his naturally cold and tough skin, prevented the poison from penetrating into his skin, although having it avoid his orifices was difficult as it is. During Amias' descent to the ground, Envy forced the coldness of his skin to come in contact with the kick made by Amias. The impact was considerable, but Envy grunted through it somehow.

What this did, however, was give him an opportunity. The cold temperature of his skin refused to allow Amias' body to loosen up, and delayed his bounce back upwards. Taking advantage of this momentarily delay, Envy intended to grab Amias' leg with both of his arms and smash him into the ground head-first, hopefully concluding the battle then and there.

Gripped by his leg, Amias was incapable of doing even the slightest to escape from Envy's wrath. As Envy through the man down into the ground, the force was so that it caused the ground to crack from the sheer force. Amias had quite literally been buried head first into the Earth by the Yurei's sheer power. It was enough to even break the man's jaw, causing him to reach for his chin weakly as he tried to get up.

Chumana's eyes went wide as it witnessed what Envy had done to Amias. "N-No. Daddy!" A voice that could only come from a little girl who hadn't even received a drop of puberty yet.

Amias gingerly opened his eyes, glancing at the serpent as she called out to him. "Step back, Daddy's got this, okay baby girl?" Amias tried to look back at Envy, only to ensure he hadn't gotten too far, not that such a thing would matter anytime soon. "Daddy'll protect ya..." On command, Amias's body began to react. To transform.

Slowly, his figure started to enlarge and elongate, a thin, white gel-like membrane forming around his body. It appeared as if the man was shedding his skin, for that was indeed what Amias had been doing in this moment in time. The overall proportions of his body began to shift. And not just that, but while his body had grown many times it's size, it's shape too would morph. For what was once his two legs seemed to join together, his head growing longer and his hands and arms fusing with his torso. Eventually, he dwarfed the size of every building on the island, and seemed to nearly take the entirety of it up. Amias's size could even dwarf that of his massive Mermaid ally Avanmora, for not all of him could fit on this single island.

This was Amias's true form, his true nature, a Damballa.

Any and all bruises that showed on his body before had all but vanished. And one couldn't tell if his immense size caused the wounds to look smaller, or much like his human-self, he'd shed it off. "My jaw'sss ssstill killing me! You'll pay for thisss Yurei ssscum!!" Amias let loose, his stomach seeming to contract and retract as he tried to expel something from his gullet.

"...What the fuck is this shit!?" Envy grunted. He had never fought an opponent so large in his entire life. Not to mention, the nature of the opponent was even trickier than the snake and human combo he fought before. He didn't have time to complain though, for Amias was preparing something that Envy knew would be dangerous to face.

"Tch. I didn't want to rely on this already..." Envy's body became even colder than it previously was. From his body, a visible mist was suddenly expelled, and the mechanism for this temperature became clear. Channeling Busoshoku Haki internally, a very difficult feat for him to perform, he managed to eliminate the influence that alcohol had on his body for a small while. In truth, the Frostbite family were noted, even among the Yurei Tribe, to possess a body temperature so cold that their exploits created the mythical legends of Yuki-onna.

There was a reason that Envy hated them for this legend though. As he began to walk forward slowly, a visage appeared in his mind. A blue-haired woman, cold, but dignified, standing with the katana that Envy had kept at his sheath. With the coldness from her body, she cut through all opposition that stood against her by reducing them to ice. The "Ice Queen" of the former generation of the Cheeky Pirates, and Envy's older sister...Frostbite Vanity.

"Just so ya' know, you big snake." Envy began to speak, as the snake expelled a white liquid akin to the gas that Chumana was expelling previously. If Envy understood their relationship properly, this would be an enhanced version of that same poison. Unfortunately, today, Envy was in a bit of a sour mood...so he couldn't take any risks. "Us Frostbites are even colder than the normal Yurei scum."

With extreme concentration, Envy focused his Busoshoku Haki into an aura that captured the cold mist that was releasing from his body and gathered it into a single place. It took the visage of a fist, but being collected and compressed in this way caused the already freezing particles to completely freeze and become a fist of ice. "And although I hate relying on this power...I can't argue that it works."

Envy clenched his right hand into a fist. It was an excruciating process that created audible sounds of ice cracking as he did so. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, his sister's overwhelming presence seemed to support this movement of his. "Frostbite Style: Northern Fist!" He sent a punch in the direction of Amias' mouth, and with it, the gigantic fist of ice, the same size as Envy's body, propelled upwards.

The excretion from Amias' mouth would soon come into contact with the fist of ice. If Envy was correct, his ice was so cold that it would completely freeze and become one with the icicle fist and fly through to Amias' throat. Whether a punch like this would freeze his whole body and kill him, or freeze him enough to cause him to render unconscious, would be completely dependent on Amias' next actions.

Breathing aloud and panting, Envy was irked. If this move of his failed, then Envy didn't have much of a backup plan. He was getting exhausted manipulating his Haki in this way, and this was a last-ditch effort on his part. If he failed here, though, he wagered that his Captain would demote him. But more than that...his sister would be disappointed.

"Oi you stupid Frostbite blood...don't fail me like you failed her, got it?!"

Envy's fist tore through the air, and no doubt did it have what it took to defeat Amias. But in exactly what compacity? As Envy's fist came burling towards Amias, the gigantic Damballa took into account what had been happening to his poisonious mist. It was no doubt that this would prove more than enough of a challenge to handle. But Amias was up to the occasion.

As Envy's Northern Fist continued to hurdle towards Amias, the Damballa stopped his body from expelling his mist. His fangs was drenched in a dark shade of black, almost vantablack in color. To retreat would be a dishonor, no, Amias intended to shatter the challenge that was imposed before him. Bathing his fangs in Haki gave him all the strength he needed to do what he planned. To shatter Envy's fist of ice.

The meeting between the two collosal forces came, and it was nothing short of terrifying. Envy's fist was caught within the mouth of Amias, he glared down at Envy, his body being pushed back by the immense force. But Amias had more than enough body mass to resist the knockback for the most part. All he had to do was focus on getting rid of his prime obstacle, the frozen fist lodged within his mouth.

Clenching his jaw upon it's body, a single crack began to form in the fist. Putting in more force, focusing all his strength upon his jaw, more and more cracks begun to form upon Envy's attack. This was the strength that Amias could call upon. Shards of ice begun to fall upon the town. The coldness that came with Envy's attack was nothing to scoff at, a blizzard would barely be a threat before it's might. Even as the rigid and sheer cold of the attack caused Amias to shiver and barely chatter his teeth, he couldn't bring himself to do so. He had to prevail. For his daughter. For Chumana.

And then it came, the crack, the crunch, to end it all. Envy's attack was shattered, Amias's might had been more than enough to end it's threat. Ice rained upon the village, demolishing the landscape and causing a winter blizzard to engulf the area. For a moment, one would confuse this island to have been a Winter Island.

"Lookss like you failed you filthy pirate!" Amias raved, basking in the glory of the moment. "SASASASA! DID YOU SSSEE THAT CHUMANA??? DID YOU...SSSEEEEE...WHAAA...DADddy...diiiii..." Amias's speech slowed, almost as if he'd begun dowsing off. Suddenly, Amias feel down to the ground, his head slamming against the earth with an unrestrained force. "J-jussst you wait, alright! O-once I...wake up...you'll get it baddd." Amias's eyes remained open, staring at Envy with dagger eyes, but his body failed to move.

Chumana laid off in the distance, her predicament the exact same as Amias's. Her eyes looked down at Envy, but she failed to move in the slightest. "Lisssten to daddy and jussst stand ssstill, alright!" She ordered, but she was in no situation to be able to enforce her rules. Although Amias succeeded in destroying Envy's attack, he had still been the one left unable to fight back.

"Tch, families shouldn't be playing at Pirates." Envy turned around and walked away, "It only hurts them both..."
