"Black Metal" Nathaniel, otherwise referred to by his designated codename Project-X907, is a scientist who formerly lived on Weatheria known for his extensive research into Dial technology and atmospheric sciences. However, for the danger and military prospects of his research Nathaniel was taken from the island by the World Government with the intention to make him into both a weapon and a factory capable of churning out Pacifista models at a moment's notice modified based on technology his personal research had helped to create. Following a botched attempt to rid him of his humanity and personality however, Nathaniel's project was cancelled due to "unexpected aggressive behaviour." Being too valuable to completely discard and considered to still have potential use to the Marines as a prototype, Nathaniel was instead locked away in a secure Marine facility.
Harbouring resentment for the immorality and principles of the World Government manifested in what was done to him; currently Nathaniel serves as a Revolutionary in the Grand Line affiliated with the organization responsible for his return to the outside world.
