Sage is one of Mugen's Eight Precepts. He is the brother of Maximus, and a scion of the Kolakas Tribe.
Appearance[]
Sage dons elegant, white clothing with red and golden accents. His outfit has baggy sleeves and pants, a white cloak, a face mask that completely conceals his face, a large white cape, and a variety of spiky ornaments. He has the long nails typical of his tribe - however, his are shorter than average. He also carries a large halberd with him.
Personality[]
Sage is a calm and collected individual with a work-oriented mindset. He doesn't like excessive formalities and favors efficiency.[1] He dislikes it when people don't take their duties seriously, as shown when he reprimanded Tiefenbacher Konrad for slacking off.[2]
As a Kolakas, Sage refers to people by using his tribe's unique suffixes.[3]

While at first glance Sage seems to be loyal to Astor, being extremely reverent of him, he also seems to hold him in contempt behind closed doors, referring to him as "That Thing".[4]
Tiefenbacher Konrad[]
Of all Precepts, Sage gets along the worst with Tiefenbacher Konrad due to the Vampyr not taking his duties seriously.[2] On his part, Konrad has made little effort to hide his own dislike of Sage and has even attacked him after being insulted one too many times.[5]
Powers and Abilities[]
As a member of the Kolakas Tribe, Sage possesses long, claw-like fingers and an innate resilience to almost all types of poisons, as his body has adapted to his already highly toxic blood, which he can emit from his clawed hands. It can also be assumed that he possesses at least some proficiency with his halberd.
Intelligence and Tactical Wit[]
Sage seems to be skilled in strategy, as he was put in charge of attacking a Marine base.[1] He used the fog surrounding it to hide his ship's movements and wasted no time in ordering the base be bombarded, refusing to take any chances.[6][1]
