The Shandia is a tribe of winged people, also known as Shandians, originating from the Moon and later lived on Jaya. They currently reside within Skypiea.
Appearance[]
Shandian clothing is similar to that of Native Americans, and their skin is frequently covered with tattoos that cover vast parts of their bodies. Their wings are similar in shape and upward orientation to the Skypieans', but they have several additional feathers that are longer and have a more defined shape than the Skypieans'.

Wings[]
The Shandian Tribe's most distinguishing feature is that every member of their race possesses wings. However, the wings of the Tribe are quite useless since they're small and don't provide a plentiful of strength to soar through the skies, but at least the wings are quite flourish, for they are indeed. Since Shandian Wings are incredibly rare to the Blue Sea they are very sought after, they fetch an impressive average price of 1,150,000 or more.
Overall Strength[]
The Shandia are an extremely devoted race, and their devotion and fortitude have seen them through the most trying times. They are ferocious fighters and skilled warriors who are devoted to their tribe. Despite the passage of 400 years, they persisted in battling even after all hope was lost because they never lost sight of their mission to reclaim their homeland from the Skypieans.
Tribe members have displayed signs of Mantra or to be known as Haki.

Leaving Behind Friends[]

An ancient drawing of the three former races of the moon: Birkan (left), Shandorian (middle) and Skypiean (right)
The Shandia were once called Shandorians. They lived on the moon along with the fellow moon races, the Birkans and Skypieans. The three races had also built a robotic race called the automata. However, when resources on the moon wore out, the three races had to leave the automata behind as they headed for Earth.

Trivia[]
- The portrayal of Shandia is similar to the portrayal of Native Americans, and the story of their homeland being taken from them is likened to the historic significance of European settlers taking land from the native Americans.
- They may also be inspired by the Sentinelese, a tribe characterized by its technological backwardness and its aggressiveness towards outsiders.
- Info used to make this was from the One Piece Wiki: Shandia, so much thanks to their Fandom.
