Sparrow D. Arthur or nicknamed Ro is a Revolutionary turned Pirate from the East Blue and the eldest son of Sparrow D. Jack, a legendary Pirate who went missing and was presumed dead after an assault on his ship by a Marine Buster Call and Rouge D. Ariyia. He is the eldest brother of Sparrow D. Ahemed and a direct enemy of the Pseudo-Cipher Pol organization. He was captured and was originally planned to be sent to Impel Down but escaped[1] alongside his brother and 50 other of his fellow prisoners with Ahemed's glitch ability. He was then attacked and heavily injured and eventually killed during the Battle on Toke by Aizien. It turns out he actually survived by being dumped by the Vikings and rescued by Parker Spen and was found after the Supernatural Pirates' raid on Ghiris which ended in takeover and him ultimately joining the crew to find his younger brother.
Arthur has been on the sea for many years, evading authorities and multiple attempts by the Government to prevent his rebellion. He commanded over 3 ships filled with Revolutionary men before finally being stopped by a massive explosion sent by the Marines that killed his comrades and led to him being captured. 3 weeks later, he rediscovered his young brother and the two teamed up to escape the clutches of Pseudo-Cipher Pol and were residing in Vernerzia, awaiting the war between them and the agents which didn't go as planned as Alzien showed up and massacred majority of the group.
He is the owner of the Rēza Rēza no Mi, a fruit that he gained sometime while on the sea. This fruit allowed him to fire extremely hot and fast laser beams similar to Pacifista yet he can fire them from his hands, mouth, and even his chest. By eating this fruit, he became a Laser Human.
During the Battle on Toke, Arthur was believed to perish after losing a huge amount of blood from Aizien's flame produced tiger but somehow survived and joined the Supernatural Pirates. After the disbanding of the Supernatural Pirates, Arthur was found by his captain, Aries A. Arturo and joined the Bolt Pirates.
Appearance[]
Physical Features(Pre-Battle)[]
Arthur was a slim, yet well-muscled, toned young man of average height with spiky and wild blonde/gold hair that goes in every direction with the exception of his cowlick of hair which hung over his forehead. He has very darkish blue eyes which are very cat-like and above his right eye he has a very thin scar given to him from the conflict between him and the Marines after a piece of shrapnel cut his across the top of the eye. He wore an earring on his left ear with a metal pendant which was a gift to him by one of his comrades years before. This was his most important piece that he wore seeing as it belongs to one of his now deceased comrades who made him promise to never leave it behind which he agreed to.
Clothing[]
Arthur's main outfit choice when being transported to Impel Down consisted of a blue vest with gold on the outside edges and the inside edges covered by gray fur, gray sashes with a brown undersized t-shirt which leave his abdominal muscles showing, a pair of loose cream-colored pants held up by suspenders that attach with golden rings, a pair of blue gloves that reach all the way to his bicep, and a pair of dark colored boots with golden bottoms, sides, and one gold piece in the front of the boot.
When he was at Vernerzia, he wore a light-colored jacket with red fur inside of it along with loose blonde pants and a pair of tall black boots.
After going to Toke to get help, he removes the upper part of his Vernerzia outfit and just wears the pants.
Physical Features(Post-Battle)[]
Arthur gains a thin mustache and his hair has grown significantly longer and he has a lazier expression than before. He has gotten way taller, standing at 6'3.
Clothing(Post-Battle)[]
As his main choice of attire, he wears a long white robe with a golden stripe in the center along with a teal undershirt which is slightly hidden by his sliver scarf.
Personality[]
Arthur is a very cocky and confident person but along with this he's extremely intelligent although he sometimes acts on impulse. He's incredible with planning and attacking and is so confident that he stood in Pucci's face and disrespected him, knowing he could hold his own. He also has extreme faith in others as he was prepared for Pucci to attack after he had disrespected him and knew his younger brother would arrive to help him.
He is a believer of tough love as when he reunited with his brother, he decided to bind him by laser chains and then kicked him in the face because he felt like that was the only way he could get his point across. He teased Ahemed to test the waters of his strength to test if he had gotten stronger or not and to also determine if his brother was going to be useful to his cause.
Arthur also has a very honorable moral code seen when he ridiculed Pucci for his murder of Gro Thors in Toke, asking if he feels like a real man now. This statement highlights his honorable nature and can paint a picture for the type of fighter he is while in battle.

Sparrow D. Ahemed[]
Even though the two brothers had bad blood with each other, Ahemed still adored his brother so much to the point where he took his nickname to start his pirate journey. Arthur cares about his brother and has incredible faith in his abilities and instantly invites him to join his new Revolutionary group with no hesitation whatsoever. He believes in his brother so much to the point where he decided to disrespect Pucci in front of his face just to spite him because he knew that his brother was already on his way to assist him. Even when the battle looked grim for him, he stepped up and fought alongside his brother but eventually was almost killed which was something that his brother couldn't accept, showing just how important they really were to each other. When he is revealed to be alive, his first priority is his younger brother and he even joins a pirate crew just to find him again.

Arthur and Infamy are decently close and both equally trust each other despite not knowing each other for a long time. Arthur rushed into battle alongside his captain with no hesitation and was willing to battle Charlotte Key with no sort of fear in the world. After Infamy breaks down after the battle in the casino due to Peno's death, Arthur shows concern and hurt for his comrade and almost cries alongside him.

Sidra and Arthur are on good terms, both having trust in each other and being able to fight alongside each other.

After Peno's death, Arthur shows a hint of sadness despite not even knowing the pirate for that long.
History[]
Not much is known about Arthur's life seeing as he left his family at an early age to fight back against the World Government and was possibly even with his father the day of his presumed death. He created a band of Revolutionaries and fought back against the Government the best they could before all of them were wiped out, besides Arthur.
Plot[]
Phantom Fever[]
Arthur's first appearance would be in Phantom Fever while him, his brother, and the other 50 prisoners were under the ship. This interaction would be a major point in the story as not only is Ahemed's real name revealed, but his brother also makes his appearance a major player in the story. The two would engage in battle with the Pseudo Cipher-Pol before escaping using Ahemed's glitch. As the group arrived on Vernerzia, Arthur instructed Ren to get food but he brought back grass, something that would lower his alertness as he was prepared to battle his comrade. This led to Alzien attacked the group and brutally injuring both Ahemed and Arthur and killing the other escapees, burning them along with the half of Vernerzia. Ahemed helped the two escape to Toke with Arthur in critical condition. As Ahemed and Torsten engaged in battle with the pirates invading Toke, Alzien arrived and Ahemed felt him, glitching to him without any sort of backup. Arthur would awaken and push through his wounds, flying to assist his younger brother. He arrived and battled Alzien until he was injured by Alzien's lunarian flame tiger which left him near death, sparking Ahemed's continuation into piracy and his pirate dreams.

Arthur is incredibly powerful and has immense physical strength, being able to beat 2 agents of Pseudo-Pol along with being able to go toe-to-toe and overwhelm Parker Pucci who was possibly one of the strongest characters in the story as of now without any type of special powers[2]. He was also able to knock his extremely durable younger brother to the ground with just one kick and was able to slam and easily defeat an agent[3][4], two demonstrations of his incredible power.

Arthur is incredibly fast, as seen when he blitzed one of the agents and defeated him with just his element of surprise.[5]

Arthur was incredibly intelligent, being able to make a plan to get all of the 50 prisoners out in one big teleportation[6]. He was able to formulate a plan and knew before anyone else that his brother would rescue him, a mix of his intelligence and his general common sense.

Reversion[]
Reversion is a technique of unknown origin as it can return someone back to their regular state after a transformation by unknown means. This ability was first demonstrated when he returned his younger brother to his original appearance instead of letting him run around in his disguise.[7]
Devil Fruit Powers[]
Arthur ate the Reza Reza no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create, control, and transform his body into lasers. He can shoot them from almost anywhere on his body and it has sort of a burning sensation from wherever he shoots it from.
