Overview[]
Territories (領土, Ryoudo?) are specified areas of land that are under the control of a particular group or organization, such as a specific pirate crew.
Territories play a rather large part in the current Age of Pirates, as they are constantly being altered and undergoing ownership changes as various organizations take ahold of them.
They can span from small islands with a single town to entire kingdoms, as evidenced with the Longinus Family and their rule over the kingdom of Dressrosa, which is one of the Twenty Kingdoms.
As mentioned briefly before, territories are not only held by pirates, but countries and other governmental organizations as well.
